The Holiday Bazaar, in conjunction with Christmas at Crossroads, will be held Friday, November 29th on the Town Green. Artisans and patrons from all over gather for this vast annual display of handmade goods. Music On The Deck is back at Kowaliga all summer long AND brand new this year, EVERY SUNDAY from 4:30-7:30 (some holidays will be excluded!) Come grab a spot on the deck on April the 14th as Jonathan Bloom kicks of the season. The lake should be full and the air should be warming up! Alabama Marine Police will conduct a course at The Ridge Marina April 6th from 8 AM to 3 PM to help all boaters, first-timers, and veterans alike.
Hosted by Russell Marine, this course is NASBLA and Alabama Boating Safety certified.

The 10th annual Russell Forest Run 10K will be held in the Russell Forest on Saturday, February 23, 2019! Registration for the 10K and the 5K is now open on the Russell Forest Run website! The cannon will sound to start the 10K at 7:45 am and 10 minutes later the 5K will start. Join in the fun of the run, and enjoy the post-race party in The Stables at Russell Crossroads. The Russell Forest Run famous Grits Bar will be wide open with all your fixins’ including butter, honey, and cheese – of course, there will be fruit, energy bars, and ice cold beer! We do this in support of Alexander City Schools Education Foundation – so come run, walk, or cheer!
